Clinics will be held at the Aurora VA Hospital on the fourth Saturday of each month (times to be determined).

- Due to COVID-19, the in-person clinics will begin at a later date to be determined.
- Volunteers also needed for virtual clinics that are being conducted on a limited basis.
Purpose: This clinic will be able to pair military veterans with an attorney who can best address their specific legal issue. At this clinic, the volunteer attorney will assess a case and provide a veteran with legal information. They do not represent the veteran and will not provide an opinion on the case if already represented. Services: Services are for military veterans and family members. Attorneys provide legal information without promise of continuing service or representation. There is no attorney-client relationship created between a volunteer and a veteran at the clinic. The clinic is not able to handle urgent matters. Additional Assistance: If you are not able to resolve the legal issue at this clinic, and additional information, or advice or referral is necessary, the Clinic will send a list of cases to potential volunteer attorneys. If a volunteer attorney can provide further assistance, he or she will contact the veteran within one month. There is no guarantee that a volunteer attorney will be available so veterans should continue to pursue legal options. |
