This is a FREE CLE for ACBA Members presented by the ACBA Business Law Committee.
(Approved for 1 CLE credit)

This CLE will provide an overview of the federal OSHA rules and regulations, address how this law applies to small business, and then provide some discussion on enforcement and penalties.

Amanda Hemmerich is an associate attorney at Burns, Figa & Will. She focuses her practice on water, environmental, and natural resources law. Amanda earned her J.D. at the University of Maine School of Law in 2016. During law school, she was Chair of the Environmental & Energy Law Society and received academic awards for Environmental Law and her independent writing project, which was published in the Environmental Law Reporter. Prior to law school, Amanda worked as an environmental planner/NEPA consultant with a wide range of agencies, including BLM, USFS, BIA/Navajo Nation, and USFWS. She also spent several years working as a wildland firefighter with the BLM’s Craig Interagency Hotshot Crew in Craig, CO.
