Alan D. Sweetbaum, received his B.A. from Syracuse University, and J.D. from the University of Denver (1983) (Order of St. Ives). Mr. Sweetbaum was an Editor of the Denver Law Journal. He is the founding member of Sweetbaum Sands Anderson PC. He practices in the areas of commercial and civil litigation. He specializes in handling all types of litigation affecting real estate. Mr. Sweetbaum also handles bankruptcy, foreclosure, receivership matters, quiet title actions, construction defect litigation, mechanic's lien litigation, and title insurance litigation. He also has handled numerous appeals in Federal and State Courts, many of which are published opinions having significant consequences in the business and real estate arena. Mr. Sweetbaum has had the honor of being designated a "Super Lawyer" by Law and Politics magazine for every year since its inception. He has also been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America since 2013 in the field of commercial litigation and real estate. Mr. Sweetbaum lectures frequently on various real estate, title insurance and litigation issues. He has been the host of several long-playing radio shows on KOA Radio in Denver. He is a past member of the Colorado Real Estate Section Council.
