2026 Spring CLE
WHEN:    April 22-25 
               
WHERE:  Paris Las Vegas Hotel 
SEMINAR FEE - $275 (Includes up to 9 CLE credit hours; welcome reception; breakfast buffet for seminar attendees on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If bringing a non-legal professional spouse/significant other/family member or friend, please use guest registration (under your registration form).

SCHEDULE
Taxis are recommended for transportation to activities.

  • Wednesday, 6:00-7:00 p.m. President's Welcome Reception 
  • Thursday, Friday & Saturday
    - Breakfast (for seminar attendees) 8:00 a.m.
    - Seminars 8:30-11:30 a.m. 
  • Thursday optional activities - Transportation on your own
    ~ $86/per person - Buffet lunch Bacchanal Caesar's Palace @ 2:30pm
    ~ $40/per person - Mob Museum with guided tour - 5pm
  • Friday optional activity - Transportation on your own
    ~ $156.50/per person - The Wizard of Oz at Sphere @2pm

HOTEL 
The ACBA has a special rate (based on single or double occupancy) at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. Nightly rate (includes resort fee) is between $183.95-$263.95+tax. Reserve your room early. (Group code: Arapahoe County Bar Association)

Plan to spend time before and/or after the program to enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer (at the contracted room rates for 3 nights prior and/or 3 nights post-seminar based on availability).

  • Eliciting Client Engagement Through Motivational Interviewing presented by Heidi Metroz, Esq., LLM 

    Heidi Metroz received her JD from the University of Denver Sturm College
    of Law and her LLM in animal law from the Center for Animal Law Studies at
    Lewis & Clark Law School. She also has a master’s degree in forensic psychology, where she first learned about motivational interviewing. Heidi currently practices family law, but started her career in criminal law with over a decade of experience working in the criminal legal system.
